Our story began in 2001. We were overcome with the belief that a truly private 2nd home could be more affordable. We felt that because a 2nd home is not a permanent residence, its use and cost could be shared. We were not interested in timeshare! We were not interested in a residence club; but rather, we wanted title and ownership so as to caputure equity and appreciation.
When we began our research and development we met countless 2nd homeowners who were dissatisfied with their ownership experience. For one thing, the costs (taxes, maintenance, furnishings, etc) were too high to justify only occasional use leaving them disillusioned. There had to be something better.

We realized we could help others as well. Now, GrandShare is dramatically changing the landscape of the vacation and second home markets.
